Today is the first of July. Officially, we begin the 2nd half of 2017. I have to say i am excited about it, i am expectant of the things God will do in our lives the rest of the year.
You see, i look back in my life and God has done amazingly, especially this last year. Just because i haven’t received the exact things i have been praying for doesn’t mean God hasn’t heard my prayers (no, the Ear of the Lord is not impaired that He cannot hear us neither is He slow in fulfilling His promises). Just because i haven’t received what i wanted, how and when i wanted it doesn’t mean He has forsaken me. On the contrary, His blessings have chased and overtaken me in other aspects of my life, He has moved mountains in my favour, He has indeed performed miracles that cannot be counted on my behalf, He has touched me in an extraordinary way and He continues to, every single day.
I encourage you today, to take a moment and look back on your life. Are you not amazed by God?, hasn’t He provided exceedingly?, hasn’t your Father been faithful? No, not yet? Then know, the air you breathe you cannot pay for, it is by His grace that you live. Know that you are alive, you’re still standing and there is still tomorrow. That is enough to enter His courts with thanksgiving, showing appreciation always. Just as the Bible says, in ALL things give thanks to God. No matter the circumstances, He is the same God who brought His people out of Egypt; out of the iron furnace of suffering with an outstretched arm. He is in control. Trust Him. His Hand will get to you at the appointed time.
God hasn’t forgotten about you if you haven’t received your “what, how and when”. Know today that He is preparing you in other areas of your life to make room for the amount of blessing He is about to pour on you.
God is God and His ways are perfect whether we like them or not. After all He is the only One who can help us, so we better stick around and wait upon Him.
